Features and Specifications

Protection: Complies with IP66  (Excluding cutouts for fans/filters. Vent hoods covering fan/filter cutouts IP55)
Standard: IEC62208, IEC/EN/AS60529, RoHS, CE, UKCA

Conforming and certified to IEC 62208 – ‘Empty enclosures for low voltage switch gear and control gear assemblies’. For more information regarding design verification for switchboard assemblies, refer to AS/NZS 61439.

Material:

– Body: 1.5mm galvanised steel sheet
– Door: 2.0mm galvanised steel sheet
– 19” Data Rack Rails: 1.5mm galvanised steel sheet (for 12RU unit only)
– Enclosure Seal: Polyurethane

Body:

The robust monoblock body is fabricated using 1.5mm galvanised steel sheet. Precision automated manufacturing equipment ensures accuracy and consistent high quality. Flat face sealing surfaces increase seal life. Integral device plate mounts and M6 earth stud are included. Fan/filter cutouts and hinged vent hoods are provided as standard. Non-ventilated option is also available.(Fans and filters and ordered separately).

Door:

The front door is fabricated using 2.0mm galvanised steel sheet and is designed to provide flush recessed mounting to prevent vandalism and unauthorised access. The door incorporates concealed removable hinges with captive pins. It is hinged on the left side, designed for a 110° opening and is provided with a heavy duty door stay. An A4 plan pocket is provided.

19″ Data Rack Rails (for 12RU unit only):

Front and rear 19″ data rack rails are fabricated from 1.5mm galvanised steel sheet.

Seals:

High quality Polyurethane foamed in place (FIP) full perimeter door seals provide excellent sealing over a long life.

Lock:

The door includes a 3 point locking system with key-lock swing handle.

Device Mounting Plate:

The device mounting plate is 1.5mm galvanised steel sheet. It is pressed to provide strength. It is pre-fitted into the enclosure as standard. Powder coated RAL9010 pure white.

Surface Treatment:

UL approved epoxy polyester powder coated with a smooth finish. 80-120 micron average thickness.

Colour

Pole-Mount Bracket

The Pole-Mount Bracket is provided with holes and fasteners to attach bracket to the encapsulated threaded nutserts in the back of the field cabinet. Slots are provided in the top, bottom and middle of the bracket to suit Bandit Strap to attach to power poles. Refer to tables above for part numbers.

The Pedestal Base is provided as plinth mounts for field cabinets. Refer to tables below for part numbers.
