Switchboard Covers

IP Enclosures offers a range of Switchboard Covers. These covers are based on our standard electrical enclosure range but with fully open rear section. These backless electrical enclosures are primarily intended for installation over existing switchboard panels and are supplied with four internal mounting holes for direct wall mounting. To maintain structural rigidity, the rear edge features a 10mm internal return fold, which provides a surface for silicone seal application to the wall when required.

Material:

– Body/Frame: 1.2mm Galvanised steel sheet.
– Door: 1.5mm Galvanised steel sheet.

Body/Frame:

The body is fabricated from 1.2mm galvanised steel sheet with a fully open rear section. Corner gussets integrate internal mounting holes to maintain the structural square alignment of the enclosure. A 10mm internal return fold along the rear edge provides a surface for silicone seal application to the wall when required.

Door:

The surface mounted door is fabricated from 1.5mm galvanised steel sheet and incorporates concealed removable hinges with captive pins. The door is designed for a 110° opening.

Surface Treatment:

UL approved AkzoNobel epoxy polyester powder coated with a textured finish. 80-120 micron average thickness. Colour RAL7035 Light Grey.
