IP Enclosures offers a premium range of food-grade hygienic air conditioners engineered for temperature control of electrical cabinets in food and beverage facilities and other hygiene-sensitive environments. Manufactured in Italy, the range combines high cooling performance, corrosion-resistant construction and hygienic design to protect critical electrical equipment where cleanliness, reliability and efficient operation are essential.
Each unit is manufactured from grade 316L stainless steel. The hygienic construction incorporates a sloped roof, corrosion-resistant external surfaces and an FDA-approved blue silicone seal. A dust-resistant condenser with anti-corrosion treatment supports extended service life and reduced maintenance in demanding production environments.
Designed for wall, door or side-panel mounting, the air conditioners provide IP66 and NEMA 4X protection on the enclosure side, helping protect the cabinet interior against dust and water. The range uses natural R290 refrigerant, with a low Global Warming Potential of GWP = 3, providing efficient cooling with reduced environmental impact. The filter-free design reduces maintenance, while an integrated condensate evaporation system eliminates the need for separate condensate management. IP Enclosures’ hygienic air conditioners are available from 500 Watt to 2500 Watt. All models include advanced monitoring such as a built-in alarm interface and RS485 communications. The range is certified for use in Australia and manufactured in Italy to stringent quality standards.
